Jesus has already paid the price for our sins. We are no longer bound by, or slaves to, sin. So, we can run our race with full assurance that God sees every stumbling block and every trap and He will take care of us. We only need to keep running.

When God feels far away, we have a choice to make. We can choose to drift away or we can dig into His word, pray, and seek Him all the more.
What does it mean to ‘do it all for the glory of God’?
The Spirit God gave us dwells in each of us as believers. Still, fear creeps in and makes us think we lack what God has already provided: love, power, and self-discipline.
When we go out of our way to show kindness (especially to people who don’t like us) and expect nothing in return, sometimes they don’t know what to make of it.
Our culture is constantly telling us how to make ourselves look better and how to market ourselves. Often, we try to project this onto our Heavenly Father. The reality is that God doesn’t need us.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)
Isn’t it amazing how our relationships here on Earth are a picture of our relationship with God? I know what I ought to do, but many times, I just can’t seem to get it right.
Our culture sets us up to do everything we can to move ourselves to the front of the line. This counters everything God’s word says when it tells us to be humble and value others above ourselves. How will we get ahead this way?
